A Little Sprinkling

ORIGINAL, UNIQUE WEARABLE ART

Today, with so many men and women working outside the home,

it is rare to find time to indulge your passions...like art!

A favorite quote on a Mary Engelbreit drawing gives me encouragement:

"You're never too old to be what you might have been."

Make time to enjoy what you truly love. I'm just beginning the journey.

Motorcycle Mama and her Derriere

Well, we got "The Doctor"--as my husband likes to call her--out tonight for a quick ride. It was our first time out this year. She's all polished up bright and shiny, black and chrome. I don't know why the wind in my face is so exhilarating. Riding in the fresh air makes me feel like I've worked out or something, when in reality, all I've done is sit on my butt, enjoying the fresh air, and realizing that I now need to go for a bicycle ride or to the gym, only I don't have much energy left to do those things. Why? Because the wind's been hitting my face.

To add to the problem, my husband always says he's too tired and, so, that's that. We stay home, and I say for the umpteenth time, "I need some exercise", only because I'd like to hear someone say, "...she has a cute caboosey!" (Fifty First Dates) Like, sure, that's really going to happen. On second thought, my sweet husband would say it, for sure!

Oh, by the way, it's not too late to lift my weights. Maybe by summer my flabby arms will be in shape, but, definitely, not my tush!
