A Little Sprinkling

ORIGINAL, UNIQUE WEARABLE ART

Today, with so many men and women working outside the home,

it is rare to find time to indulge your passions...like art!

A favorite quote on a Mary Engelbreit drawing gives me encouragement:

"You're never too old to be what you might have been."

Make time to enjoy what you truly love. I'm just beginning the journey.

Two Beachcombers

First, I've got to say I truly enjoy reading Namaste's blog. It cracks me up. You can visit her shop at http://www.namaste.etsy.com, or her blog by clicking on her name in my list of blog followers.

Well, this weekend my sister and I were beachcombers. Actually my sister found one piece of brown sea glass, which is more than I can say for myself. As we walked the sandy shore I thought of my new Etsy friend who owns Liliana Designs http://www.lilianadesigns.etsy.com. She makes beautiful sea glass jewelry!

Getting back to the shore, I found a baseball for the kids, some driftwood for my mom, and some seashells for either a piece of jewelry or a scarf. I do have one called "Fishy, Fishy in the Cream" that drips with glass pearls and seashells. It seems to be one of the most popular in my collection.

Pleasant dreams along the shore, waves splashing, breezes blowing, summer on its way...relax, r-e-l-a-x, nighty night!

Your beach comber's scarf is just beautiful! - The white yarns remind me of coral and with the flowing white dress - summer perfect!

Elsie, enjoy yourself! And, Susan, thanks so much. I appreciate your compliments. By the way, we saw someone kayaking and thought we should have taken ours along. Maybe next trip. I enjoy you both!
